Part band, part criminal gang, The Stanthorpe Five went down in history before they were even born. An assemblage of some of Brisbane’s finest singers, songwriters, and charlatans, drawn together by a shared enthusiasm for epic ballads and rare tunes, the Five will be celebrating the release on parole of their debut record, 'Lamplight’, before going on the run. Created over a week of heavy drinking on a winery in Stanthorpe, 'Lamplight' is a hazy memento to the simple joy of making music with friends.
